Shipping costs
How we ship
For most of our shipments in the Netherlands we use
DPD or GLS or (at the request of the customer) the Dutch
postal system (PostNL).
For shipments to outside the Netherlands, but inside
the European Union, we prefer to use DPD or GLS.
Postal service is possible, but sometimes unreliable.
(this has nothing to do with the postal system in those
countries, but with the fact that Dutch PostNL has contracts
with couriers in those countries, who don't want to
deliver a parcel for a second time when no one is at
home to receive the parcel)
- for orders below € 50,00 we use traceable, non-insured
shipping.
As this method of shipping is non-insured, we
are not responsible for any loss during
transport.
When you prefer another shipping option, please
ask for it.
- for orders above € 50,00 we use traceable, insured
shipping.
When you want other shipping options, please ask for
it
Shipping with TNT Express/UPS/Fedex/DHL is
possible, but it is quite more expensive.
Shipping with GLS, Only

insured, max. insured value € 500,-

Parcels (but not the parcelletter) can be insured (for
up to € 520,00) and is € 2,00 extra.
DPD does not deliver to PO Box addresses, freepost numbers
and addresses on some islands.
See here
for a list of which islands are excluded.
Dutch
PostNL
We use PostNl mostly only for shipments outside the
European Union.
However, Dutch
post has made the shipping costs so complicated (each
country has different shipping costs) that we failed
in making a brief overview.
You can check the shipping costs on
the web site of PostNL.
When you can't select a high enough insurance, you have
to select a bigger parcel.
How
long does it take to ship
Stock items will be shipped within 24 hours
after receiving payment.
For non-stock and special order products the delay can
vary from a few days to several weeks.
When an item is not in stock we will always
inform you about this in the price quotation
How
long is the transit time
the Netherlands, between 1 and 2 working days.
Europe, between 2 and 6 working days
World, between 5 and 8 working days.
Customs clearing can cause some (serious) delays.
Please
remember:
We are an audio shop, not a shipping company.
