After TDO stopped the production of the RWH seroes resistors, Sun Audio/ Uchida has been looking long for a good sounding replacement. These resistors are used as the cathode resistors for the output tubes. Best sounding resistors they could find where the Tamaohm TRH series.

These may look a little bit old fashioned, but they are the best sounding (cathode) resistors we have tried.
(Personal guess is that not having a big metal cooling body on the outside makes for the more open and airy sound these resistors have)
