Harmony RCA socket



The new low mass KLE Innovations Harmony RCA Sockets are available in 3 levels with different base materials and platings.
The lower cost range is the Classic, then the Copper, and then the top specification type, the Perfect. KLE Innovations places a great deal of importance in purity of materials. Also much thought has gone into how the sockets are engineered. Please read their brochure to learn more. They are incredibly easy to install and a breeze to solder up with no excessive heating times required.

Metallurgy is of paramount importance and something that’s been central to KL’s designs from the very beginning. KL is using only conductors that are more conductive than pure copper and even pure silver. KLE is in fact responsible for bringing IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard) into the audio conversation. Using pure copper (100% IACS) as a reference, the IACS percentage defines a metal’s electrical conductivity relative to pure copper. For example, brass (25%~37% IACS) and bronze (15 ~ 48% IACS) are poor electrical conductors when compared to pure copper. Pure silver is better at 105% IACS.
