Jupiter Wire & Cable
Stranded Tinned Copper with Lacquered Cotton Insulation

Jupiter, USA has introduced a new tinned copper in cotton insulated wire, to rival Duelund’s offerings. Available in both multistrand and solid versions (depending on gauge).Jupiter tinned copper wire is very similar to the original Western Electric wire and features lacquered cotton insulation. It is available in two colors; black with red tracer, and red with black tracer. The tinned copper is made of premium American high purity metals.

Well, the length of the lead wire I used was short, abut only 10 cm, but I wanted it to be of the highest quality possible, so I chose the following: Tinned Copper Wire Lacquered Cotton Insulation - Jupiter Condenser.

This wire seems to have been developed using the famous Western Electric cable as a model, but the company's president, Cristopher-san, is particular about using the highest quality tin plating. I have long highly praised the WE16GA, which is one of the excellent speaker cables, and the Belden 8402, which is an old microphone cable that makes for great interconnects. I have also considered the quality level of the tin plating to be one of the major factors. Now I take my hat off to Christopher-san for his efforts in questing for the purity of tin itself and finding a higher quality tin plating by focusing on the skin effect of the plating.

Therefore, I used Jupiter 20 GA single wire around the coupling capacitor and Jupiter 16 GA wire for the decoupling capacitor.

Jupiter wire.

Jupiter wire products are all of high purity metals with natural cotton or silk insulation. Plastic insulation and coatings can have strained or glaring sonic attributes which are unnatural to the ear. Cotton and Silk insulation acts as a fibrous matrix for separating wires while maintaining a predominantly air dielectric, sonically very natural and open.
So many of the modern innovations do not translate to better or more natural sound.

"Today, I'm delighted to introduce you to the Jupiter 16GA tinned plated wire in lacquered cotton. In my last email, I talked about the following.

" I realized and believed that if we want to look for true analog technology, we should listen deeply to the wisdom of past ancestors found in vintage equipment and the parts forgotten in the flow of time. "

But this Jupiter 16GA is an excellent sample, which humbly learned the wisdom of its predecessors and discovered new possibilities and fascination for audio.

Jupiter 16GA wire I received has a beautiful tin plating because Cristopher-san was truly particular about the purity of tin itself. Using this wire as a speaker cable, it sounds lively and is preferable for me.

I highly recommend this new Jupiter-made-in-the-USA speaker cable to you.

I just talked about the sound of your Jupiter 16GA with my best friend, Nishikawa-san. The sound differences between the new Jupiter 16GA and WE16GA original would be the freshness and the clearness without any cloudiness upon installation into the system.

On the contrary, the burn-in time of the WE16GA original would be a month to several months. Yes, we could enjoy the sound or the music with your 16GA from the beginning.

I believe it's a very positive merit of your cable, especially in hearing the comparison of these cables."

"To be honest I wasn't expecting much of a change because my XO box is almost entirely point-to-point wiring. I only use one extra wire inside to go from + into speaker + That's it. The only other wiring is the 3 wires that come from the driver to connect to the box, and each is about 7" long. That's all the extra wiring.

However, the change to your wire was not slight and was immediately noticeable. Basically, the effect as if there was a veil I was not aware of (and if you read reviews of my work on my website you'll see taking away the veil is what I am famous for... there should be NO veil at this point) but I'll be damned... there was still one there and these wires removed it. Everything got clearer, in a spooky sort of way. (it went from a recording to reality) I'm listening to something now... it's freaking me out. (I'm turning to listen to something about 4 feet outside of the right speaker and it sounds like it's emanating from there, and it sounds damn real, which is why it keeps grabbing my attention)"
